The short version: the numbers you type into any calculator on this site never leave your browser. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms that collect your financial information.

Information you enter into calculators

All calculations run entirely in your own browser using JavaScript. Your income, loan balances, savings and any other figures you enter are never transmitted to our servers and never stored by us. Close the tab and they are gone.

Some calculators put your inputs into the page URL so you can bookmark or share a result. That URL stays in your browser unless you deliberately share it — if you do send someone a link, be aware it will contain the figures you entered.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

Cookies and advertising

FinCalc may display advertising provided by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors. Those vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete. For cookies set by advertising partners, use the opt-out links above or your browser's cookie controls. If you are in the EU, UK or California and have a question about your data rights, contact us and we will respond.
